The following is AccessibilityBase.com’s current privacy policy.

AccessibilityBase.com is owned and operated by Kris Rivenburgh / Accessible.org, LLC.

Information We Collect

AccessibilityBase.com collects information in the following ways:

  • Account Registration: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any additional profile information you choose to provide.
  • Directory Listings: If you submit a listing (Service Provider, Product, Partner, Connector, or Hiring), we collect the information you provide in your listing form, including business name, description, contact details, and any other submitted content.
  • Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed through Stripe. AccessibilityBase.com does not store your credit card number or full payment details. Stripe’s privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.
  • Contact and Communication: Information submitted through email inquiries, contact form messages, and other related communication.
  • Analytics: AccessibilityBase.com may use analytics tools to collect anonymized data including IP address (anonymized), country, approximate geographic location, referral source, browser type, pages visited, and duration spent on the website.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to operate and improve the AccessibilityBase.com platform, process subscriptions and payments, display your directory listing as submitted, communicate with you about your account or services, and ensure the security and integrity of the platform.

Third-Party Services

AccessibilityBase.com uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • WordPress as the content management system
  • YouTube for embedded video content (YouTube membership perks are associated with certain listing tiers)

Outside of the above, there are no known social media integrations or other potential third-party trackers on AccessibilityBase.com. Although there may be tracking possible through another method, AccessibilityBase.com is unaware of any such tracking.

Your Publicly Visible Information

By submitting a directory listing, you understand and agree that the information contained in your listing will be publicly visible on AccessibilityBase.com. This includes your business name, description, services, and any other details you include in your listing form. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.

For users that register on AccessibilityBase.com, we store the personal information provided in your user profile and listing. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time by emailing kris@accessible.org. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
