By using this website, creating an account, subscribing to a membership, and/or submitting a directory listing, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. If you have any questions or reservations about these terms, contact us at kris@accessible.org before continuing.

Platform Description

AccessibilityBase.com is a directory and community platform for accessibility professionals, products, partners, connectors, and hiring. The platform provides listing visibility through the directory and, for applicable tiers, YouTube membership perks. AccessibilityBase.com is owned and operated by Kris Rivenburgh / Accessible.org, LLC.

Subscriptions and Payments

Paid listings require an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.

AccessibilityBase.com reserves the right to change subscription pricing with advance notice. Continued use of the platform after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

User-Submitted Content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit in your listing. By submitting a listing, you grant AccessibilityBase.com a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display your listing content on the platform for the duration of your active subscription. AccessibilityBase.com reserves the right to reject, remove, or modify any listing at its sole discretion for any reason, including but not limited to inaccurate information, misrepresentation, or content that does not align with the platform’s standards.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform and all content are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Kris Rivenburgh and Accessible.org, LLC disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

AccessibilityBase.com does not warrant or make any representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any listing, user-submitted content, or other materials on this website. Inclusion in the directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of quality for any listed professional, product, or service.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, shall Kris Rivenburgh or Accessible.org, LLC be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, this platform, directory listings, or any services associated with AccessibilityBase.com.

In no event shall total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, in subscription fees during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to hold Kris Rivenburgh, Accessible.org, LLC, and any connected principals, agents, or entities free from any and all liability for all claims for all damages except for claims of gross negligence and intentional wrongdoing. Note that applicable law may preclude the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of damages, so these may not apply to you.

Dispute Resolution

You agree that any and all claims for gross negligence or intentional tort shall be settled solely by confidential binding arbitration per the American Arbitration Association’s commercial arbitration rules. All arbitration must occur in the state of Utah. Your claim cannot be aggregated with third-party claims. Arbitration fees and costs shall be split equally, and you are solely responsible for your own attorney’s fees.

Termination

AccessibilityBase.com reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account or listing at its sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these terms. Upon termination, your listing will be removed from the directory and your subscription will be cancelled. No refund will be issued for the remaining billing period.

This license terminates when your listing is removed or your subscription is cancelled.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you submit, and that your submitted content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
